Did you know that no one knows what happened to Strife's source code?

Ouch face
The ouch face is one of the status bar face graphics, meant to be displayed when the player is shocked by great pain. During normal play it is seen only rarely, and for a long time was considered an almost random occurrence. The release of Doom's source code made it apparent that the code to display the face was in error, with a reversed logical condition. This results in the face only being displayed if the player gains more than 20 hit points in the same tic as taking damage.
