Eternal Doom is a 32-level megawad first released in 1996. Originally developed by a group known as Team Eternal, it was later acquired and worked on by TeamTNT. It features arguably some of the largest levels ever designed for vanilla Doom. The soundtrack was composed by Rich Nagel on a Creative Wave Blaster and three Creative AWE32s.
There have been three releases of the project, each one adding new levels. The third release, Eternal Doom III, also moved Halls of Disarray from MAP15 to MAP32. An additional DeHacked file was created for the project in 1998 by Rich Nagel, containing automap names, modified cheat codes among other miscellaneous changes.

Trivia[edit]
Sverre Kvernmo made a set of zombified marine sprites to replace the Wolfenstein SS, but did not use them for unknown reasons. On October 7th, 2018, Kvernmo uploaded them for possible use in a player skin pack by Doomkid. They can be found in this Doomworld forums post.
