Evil Unleashed was the title for the first episode in the Doom Bible and was used as the subtitle of the Doom title in early alpha builds. The Atari Jaguar port kept this subtitle to distinguish it from the original DOS version which forewent it. This origin might explain why it is a popular name for mods.
