This demo shows how to find one of the secrets in Memento Mori II MAP29: Kings of Metal (sector 343, probably the most complicated secret in MM2). As the level author, Jens Nielsen, "rewards" the player for finding it by closing access to the BFG9000 and megasphere, this demo shows how to get them too.

Notes: 1) I skip the satyr switch in the room with the combat armor and soul sphere on stone platforms. It is used to create two steps making the jump to the lion switch a bit easier, but pressing it is not absolutely necessary. 2) Although taking the blue key is irrelevant in this demo, entering the room itself is important to return to the starting area. 3) When I find the secret room I make punches in the air. I do not enter it on the first attempt, getting the BFG9000 and megasphere first.

Recorded by MementoM, using PrBoom+ 2.5.0.2 with -complevel 2 (doom2.exe v1.9 compatibility.)

Length: about 2:25 (level not completed).

The editor who uploaded this file is unsure of its copyright status. A more experienced editor should help the uploader determine the status of this file, and help the uploader understand the process for picking the correct license in the future.

Items without confirmed copyright status will sooner or later be deleted.

File sourcing note: During the February 2011 content fork, uploaded files were imported to doomwiki.org using a third-party application. Said application did not recognize nonstandard media types such as LMP and WAD, so a custom script was written to handle those. Unfortunately, although the File: namespace and upload log were preserved, the previous versions of the files and the "File history" sections of the description pages have been lost.

The upload history for this file (prior to the fork) can be viewed here. Unless otherwise noted, it may be assumed that the most recent uploader of an LMP or WAD is its creator; therefore, that person has released the work under the license indicated above.
