- That's because it's not an obvious violation, merely one that we are uncertain about (as we once were uncertain about fair use screenshots). Some people obviously think these sprite sheets are permissible, or they wouldn't have uploaded them. Others disagree, including the guy who wrote our original copyright policy after consulting with Wikia. I don't know enough about copyright law to decide whether or not to VfD them, but I am hoping that someone here does. Ryan W 23:31, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
- To be honest, it isn't really necessary to have an image like this that displays every face. The image is only used on Status bar face; we could easily replace it with a cropped+enlarged screenshot showing only the face. It might even illustrate it better.
- EDIT: I've uploaded a replacement image for use in the article. What do people think of using this instead?
