Fractured Worlds is an 8-level mapset designed for Boom-compatible source ports, released by Nirvana in October 2021, and a winner in the 2021 Cacowards. In a similar manner to Magnolia (whose author, Zachary Stephens (Ribbiks), assisted in its development), Fractured Worlds alters the palette with DeHackEd to make extensive use of blue, and it also uses Magnolia's low-health Cyberdemon to replace the Spider Mastermind.
According to Nirvana, the purpose of the WAD was to "revolve around mixing up gameplay, with most maps having varying amounts of incidental combat, set-piece encounters, platforming, and exploration."[1]
