From DOOM With Love, also known as FDWL, is a source port forked from DSDA-Doom by Chaz Louviere, also known as Charles Love. It seeks to include additional Quality-of-Life improvements over its parent port whilst maintaining a high level of similarity with it, though this may change over time.
FeaturesEdit
- All features from DSDA-Doom:
- Custom icons and executable (FDWL.EXE)
- Restarting the map while pistol starting no longer clears the total time
- View bob and weapon sway are now separate toggles
- Option to only display crosshair when a monster is targeted
- When extended HUD is enabled, the current map name is displayed as well
- Option to hide totals in extended HUD
- Spectres and other shadow creatures can now be targeted by the crosshair. The crosshair won't snap to their position however
- Smart Vertical Sync: Vsync is now only enabled for video configurations where screen tearing is an issue. (500fps framelimit by default)
- Support for 16:9, 16:10, and 21:9 200p/400p resolutions
