Fuel Devourer is a single-level PWAD of Doom II with a Boom-compatible port. It was designed by C4tnt and Arthur O. (Archi) while Jay Reichard (silentzorah) created remixed music tracks for the map and the title and intermission music.

The map includes one new enemy: a white-coated zombie, possibly a former scientist, wielding an axe. It replaces the Wolfenstein SS.

Fuel Devourer was the winner of one of the Cacowards in 2013.

SecretsEdit

  1. Approaching the blue key will reveal a wall in front of it. Head back east when this happens, then south and look a bit to the west to spot a switch. Use this switch then head back to the blue key. Just southeast of where the key is will be another switch, which you will have to quickly press. This switch reveals a passage of health bonuses leading to a green armor. (sector 189)
  2. Head into the nukage and go to the northeast part of the map once you get the red key. Open the red door to the west to get a soul sphere. (sector 398)
  3. If you have the yellow key, head north from the rocket launcher platform and up the steps to the yellow door (alternatively, you can enter this area from Secret #2). There will be a control panel in front of you. Directly to the south of the control panel is a shootable switch tucked in a wall. Shoot it to lower a wall further to the south, which leads to the ledge with rockets. Using the piped wall on this ledge will reveal a megaarmor. (sector 822)
  4. At the entrance to the crusher hallway, spot the open vent and dart towards it. Follow it back to the room with the lava pit and rods, then jump directly into the pit. A lift will appear, use it and head into the vent to find five boxes of rockets. (sector 989)
  5. After you get the blue key, take the door southwest of the starting point and open the blue door to the big gray room. If you have not done so already, enter the northwest room and use all the switches, then go to the southwest end of the room and take the lift down. In this area with the large red doors, head east from the doors towards the hall with the two chaingunners at the end. Look at the north wall as you do and find the set of computer panels that is green instead of red. Use the small indentation in the lower left corner to trigger a switch, then return to the big gray room and then back through the blue door. Open the wall between the two lamps and then approach the dead end to reveal a soul sphere. (sector 1003)
  6. When you have all three keys, head south from the plasma gun area to the red door and open it, then use the blue switch on the east wall. The switch behind it raises a lift to the southwest, so use that lift and head west and north to the next door. Open it and open the yellow door to the south. Head behind the BFG9000 platform and press the red button, then leave the rooms and take the red door to the south, which leads to the room with the lava pit and the rods. Head east from there up the steps, open the door, and off the lift to the north. Open the next door you see here and there should be a lift in front of you. Lower it, then ride it all the way up to find an energy cell pack and a dropoff point to a megasphere. (sector 1204)
  7. The control panel mention in Secret #3 opens the brown door west of the starting point. Head over here and open the next door, then the next one you see and use the switch to continue southwest (look out for the cyberdemon on Ultra-Violence or higher or the eight barons of Hell on Hurt Me Plenty or lower). In this area with the dock switch, head to the south end towards the block with the medikit and box of shotgun shells around it and use the north side of the block to reveal another switch. Another block will lower revealing a door into a small yard with an energy cell pack, a box of ammo, and a backpack. (sector 1340)
  8. With the red key, head south from the rocket launcher platform, open the red door, and head across the bridge. Turn to the east at the fork and head just north of the lift under the wires. You will drop to a cage where you can get an energy cell pack. (sector 1384)
  9. At the control panel at the southern end of the map with the blue and green buttons, get on top of the control panel and onto the gray block with the imp on it. From there, head east and behind the cage to get four boxes of rockets. (sector 1684)
  10. The control panel mention in Secret #3 opens the brown door west of the starting point. Head over here and head behind the building to find an energy cell pack. (sector 1755)
