HeXetic is a source port for Heretic and Hexen for DOS. Not much is known about either the port or the author, XGhost, as documentation regarding the former is very minimal, and the latter did not wish to give their specific identity, other than a now-defunct email.
Only one version was ever released. Version 0.1 was released on February 2, 1999. The project was later abandoned, although the author also included the port's source code for download and further modification.
Uniquely enough for a Doom engine source port at its time, it only supported Heretic and Hexen. It is unknown whether Shadow of the Serpent Riders and Deathkings of the Dark Citadel are supported.
