Ian McCormick is a character from Doom 3, who reveals the truth behind the strange invasion on Mars.
He worked at the 2nd sector of the Delta Labs. He and his colleagues were part of the Betruger's research team of martian teleportation.
When Ian encouters the Marine, he help him to get to Delta Labs Level 2b. He also reveals to the Marine how he and Betruger opened the portal between Mars and Hell, and gives a Video Disc telling about the teleportation experiments and the specimens they were getting behind the portal to be delivered to the UAC Board. However, he didn't survived the invasion when the Marines of the Armada Fleet arrived. It's most likely that the demons found and killed him.
