EssentialsEdit

This is a fairly large and non-linear level, but one that shouldn't take you long to finish. You start on the outside of a structure, which you must enter. First, walk a bit until you get out of the boulder you are in, then turn to your right and you will see a brick structure, next to it there is a small metal building, go to it and press the switch on the south wall. This switch opens a door in the previous brick wall, go in there.

This area is a straight path with no shortcuts or crossings, just follow the path and you will reach the end, however, multiple enemies will attack you on the way, including imps, former humans and Hell knights. A secret wall will open to reveal a monster closet, eliminate the enemies and you will see a skull switch, press it to continue. At the end of the path, you will find a silver platform that will take you to a small hill, where you will find a mancubus waiting for you and also the red key.

Once you have the red key, you can jump off the hill and head straight to the structure, through the entrance where you will find multiple demonic statues. To enter, simply go down a little to the far left and there are some small steps where you can climb up and cross over to the wooden door. Demons will be waiting for you, including some cacodemons that will ambush you from behind. As you enter the fortress, you will see a large room with several spectres, eliminate them and then head to the altar where there is a texture of a kneeling demon. Press it and it will lower a small pillar to your left, which is the red switch that will reward you with a megasphere. Once you pick it up, turn around and head to the small wooden door on the west wall. You will now enter the library, which has a few enemies guarding it.

Go straight ahead until you reach the second row of bookshelves, you will see a glowing bookshelf texture on the east side. Open it to enter the next area. Chaingunners will attack you. Continue to the right and you will enter the underground area of the fortress. A long path opens up in one direction only, as you cross it, several imps will ambush you by use of monster closets. This path has only one direction, so you can't get lost. When you reach the end, you will find a white teleporter that will take you to the cyberdemon's island, which you will automatically kill with the teleporter.

On this island, a few imps will attack you, but they are not a big problem. Head towards the big rock at the bottom, and, where the three trees are, take the left side, you will see that the rock has two steel textures, press in the middle and a small platform will lower and give you the blue key, as well as a platform on the other side that will give you a backpack, which is jealously guarded by a revenant.

Once you have the blue key, you can go back exactly where you came from. Once on the underground path again, you will be ambushed by more imps and revenants, so kill them to continue. After that, go back to the library area, and go the way you came in the first place. You will find a small room with two big tables and a platform in the middle, which moves a group of former humans from the bottom all the way up. Once you kill them, continue to the wooden door on the south wall, which is surrounded by chairs from left to right. Here, you will enter a new room with various enemies. This path has only one direction, so keep going until you reach the bottom where you will find a switch, press it and a group of imps will teleport, but also a wall will open right by the entrance. This wall reveals a kind of blue magic mirror. Shoot it to activate it. Some imps will attack you at that moment.

Now, you can go back the way you came and leave the fortress. When you reach the entrance, you will see a small demon statue, turn left here. Follow the black path until you reach the end of it. You may be attacked by several cacodemons and imps along the way. Once you reach the end, you will see a blue door. Open it and you will enter a small warehouse of barrels. A table with a soulsphere will lie in front of you. Shoot the table and a small platform will allow you to climb up to pick up the soulsphere. As you do so, a baron of Hell will teleport behind you.

Once you get out of there, you can follow the black trail as a path. Go near the area where you started the map, and you will see a dry brown tree. To the right of it, on the east wall of the structure, you will see that the exit door has opened. Go inside and there will be the exit switch, press it to finish the map.
