Insane_Gazebo is a Doom level designer and artist. His best known work is Sunder, an in-development slaughtermap megawad. Sunder's original release during 2009-2010 was immensely influential, featuring a previously unseen marriage between grand, beautiful maps and challenging slaughter gameplay. This style was picked up and expanded upon by 2010s slaughtermap authors.[1]

After a nine year hiatus, Insane_Gazebo returned to work on Sunder in 2019. He also started participating in various community and team projects, notably those from the The Hellforge Discord.
