Jon Vail (alias 40oz, formerly JohnnyRancid) is an American level designer best known for co-authoring UAC Ultra with Super Jamie. In 2010, he was named Mapper of the Year at the 2010 Cacowards. As a level designer, he is said to have "...made an art of speedmapping, much like Erik Alm and other community greats before him..."[1] and has been described as "...a machine that pumps out quality maps like there's no tomorrow..."[2],
He along with Tanner West (splatterhouse) are the hosts of World Extermination Radio, an internet radio show about Doom, similar to Doom Radio.
