Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Essentials

A very small map with only a few monsters, First Blood also acts as an introduction to additional content featured in the wad, in this case the Doomsphere.

Other points of interest

Secrets

  1. Activate the pale grey wall in the starting room to find green armor. (sector 74)
  2. Inside secret #2 is a misaligned brick wall. Press it to reveal a chaingun, clips and a shoot switch, which lowers the lift to the exit. (sector 90)

Routes and tricks

Shoot the switch visible from secret #2 to lower the lift leading to the exit. This allows you to bypass the normal route almost entirely. The lift raises again quickly, however, so you'll need to be fast.
