MAP01: Get Going is the first map of Scythe. It was designed by Erik Alm and uses the intermission screen theme from Doom for its music track.

Walkthrough

Map of Get Going
Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Essentials

Head north from the start and enter the building. Go down the stairs in the north-west corner of this room and hit the switch on the northern wall. This lowers the red key. Backtrack and grab the now-lowered red key. Enter the south-eastern building and head up the stairs. Hit the switch on the eastern most wall. Enter the southernmost area and head east to find the exit switch.

Other points of interest

Secrets

  1. In the north-east corner of the courtyard, the small platform with the chainsaw. (sector 13)

Bugs

Linedef 270 has a missing upper texture, making an obvious HOM visible to the player.
