MAP01: Outpost Mortem is the first map of The Darkening Episode 2. It was designed by Ola Björling and uses the music track "Eastern Cwm" by Peter Tomaselli (Kniggit).

Walkthrough

Map of Outpost Mortem

Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Secrets

1. At the beginning, drop down the rocks towards the base ahead, but do so slowly and lean toward the left side. As you do so, you should spot a small cave with an armor. (sector 347)
2. In the northwest section of the map near the blue key, there is a berserk pack on top of a crate. Make a running jump from the top of the steps nearby to reach it. (sector 400)
