Secrets

There are twelve secrets on the map, in nine secret areas, some of which can be accessed from several places:

  1. From the starting position, head up the stairs. Near the top is a tripwire activating an entrance to the East. Run up the stairs and turn right. Run past the chaingun platform, turn left. As you enter the corridor, the first aperture on your left will be open, revealing armour bonuses and light amplification visor.
  2. In the dark corridors where the red keycard can be found, after the monster closets have opened, the one on the south-west with a box of ammo and a BROWN96 wall can be opened, revealing a berserk pack. Stepping in this secret sector triggers an ambush and opens a passage to the room with the chaingun platform.
  3. In the room near the start with the soulsphere platform, the BRONZE2 section of the northern wall opens a secret area with a super shotgun and several armor bonuses. This area can also be accessed by the TEKWALL1 panel on the southern wall of area behind the red door. Both the sector with the bonuses and the sector with the weapon count as secrets.
  4. Due south of the soulsphere platform is an alcove which opens with an area with a few imps and armor bonuses. This area contains three sectors which count as secrets. It can also be accessed from the ledge surrounding the yellow keycard area, beyond the blue door.
  5. The soulsphere platform counts as a secret. In the room from secret #4, the western wall can be activated to reveal a switch that lowers this platform.
  6. In the room behind the red door, in addition to another route to access secret #3, another BRONZE2 wall on the northern wall can be opened, allowing access to a secret balcony with some clips and a chainsaw on a platform. Picking up the chainsaw after lowering its platform sparks an ambush.
  7. Beyond the blue door, just south of the area with round cement pillars, a CEMENT2 panel on the western wall can be opened, allowing access to the ledge surrounding the area with the yellow keycard. The section of that ledge just beyond the stairs is secret. An alternate route to secret #4 can be opened by activating the northern TEKWALL4 wall in the northwest corner.
  8. Circle all along the ledge to reach the megaarmor. The northern wall of the ledge can be opened, revealing a secret sector containing a blur sphere.
  9. Inside the Exit chamber, the CEMENT2 wall on the east opens a passage with a flight of stairs leading to the imp balcony, which is a secret area where you can find some ammo, a computer area map and some health bonuses.
