MAP03: Downtown is the third map of STRAIN. It was designed by Florian Helmberger and uses the music track "Inner Turmoil" by David Shaw (Tolwyn).

Secrets

  1. When you enter the big building, go west and use the wall where the candle is to access shotgun shells and stimpacks. (sector 90)
  2. Flip the switch near Secret #1 and the one south of it, then quickly run east past the gate before it closes. In the winding hallway past the gate, you might notice a clean section of wall in the middle of the hallway. Use that section to find a teleporter leading to stimpacks and shotgun shells. (sector 252)
  3. Running past the gate related to secret #2 opens up two walls before it with shotgun guys in them. When you return to this area, go to the south compartment and open the east wall, which leads to the cage with the Class 2 imps and the red key. The red key can be used in the exit building, in the room where the Class 2 imps drop from the columns, the northwest column has an additional switch with red bars. Flipping that switch opens the bars to the soul sphere in the exit room. (sector 130)
