MAP03: Push Back is the third map of Dark Universe. It was designed by Paul Dechene (Payload4367).

SecretsEdit

  1. In the hall east of the starting point, there is a yellow key switch in the northeast corner which triggers a lift with a box of rockets. (sector 490)
  2. Make sure you have the blue key, then enter the room at the end of the long hallway at the west side of the map. Take the path north as it wraps around, then use the switch dead ahead to lower a lift that leads up to a computer area map. Using the door here will lead to a rocket launcher. (sector 682)
  3. At the north end of the long hallway at the west side of the map, take the door. Use the switch in the center of the room to rise up, then use the nearby switch. A door to the northwest opens up. Enter to find armor bonuses, an ammo clip, shotgun shells, and a medikit. (sector 826)
  4. In the room with the shotgun north of the hall where Secret #1 is, a switch to the southwest of the shotgun will open two compartments to the north with ammo clips and shotgun shells. The compartment on the right counts as the secret. (sector 871)
  5. The long hallway west of the shotgun room leads to a chainsaw. Approach the chainsaw, but as you reach the room it is in, notice the three pipes near the room entrance. You can fall down into the small alcove between them and the wall, then use the east wall to access a vent leading to some ammo and a berserk pack. (sector 907)
  6. At the long hallway on the west side of the map, one alcove has blood pouring out from it. Enter this to be teleported to a secret area with an arch-vile and demons. A blur artifact will be where the arch-vile was, and there are shotgun shells and boxes of ammo nearby. To leave, head south, noticing the masses of monsters across the pits, and use the switch to crush them. You can then leave. (sector 1175)
  7. Take the hall to the west of the room with the shotgun (north of the starting point) and take the first door to the north. Get the yellow key to the east, then head west and use the switch you find on the north wall. The switch, which requires the yellow key, reveals a compartment nearby with shotgun shells. (sector 1235)
  8. At the eastern part of the map, head for the northern hallway, then go southwest to a small room. Straight ahead of you, at the southwest corner, press on the misaligned wall to find an ammo clip and armor bonuses. (sector 1262)
  9. At the eastern part of the map, head for the northern hallway, then go southwest to a small room. Take the east door, and then the south door, then the east door (make sure you have the yellow key). This secret area has a green armor and a plasma gun among other supplies. (sector 1318)
  10. Near the switch for Secret #7 is a vent shaft which leads to the eastern part of the map. (sector 1567)
