Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Essentials[edit]

Shoot the target switch in front of you to lower the bars, kill three super imps that teleport in behind you then follow the trail of health bonuses up to the top level to find a shotgun and a box of shotgun shells - as you advance, kill the small enemies firing at you from the overhead windows. Turn left (west) when you get to the shotgun to see a berserk pack on a crate ahead of you, then head south around some larger crates to find a super shotgun. Follow the path past a mancubus and one or two cacodemons to some steps and go up them to an empty room, then drop down the hole here to find the red keycard.

Drop down to ground level and kill the imps that teleport in near the starting point, then head back up to the top level and go through the east doorway to enter a room with stimpacks and shotgun shells; note the closet containing imps and a rocket launcher that opens to the north. Proceed east to a grassy area with a super chaingun, then south to some steps that lead up to a gray ledge; follow this ledge south to find a revenant guarding the blue keycard. With both keys, fight your way past some imps, shotgun guys and mancubi that have teleported in to reach the top level again, then open both locked doors in front of you and step on the red X to finish the level.

Other points of interest[edit]

Secrets[edit]

  1. Just before the blue key is a pillar with a supercharge (actually secret #2). You can straferun past this pillar to land in a small room with a plasma gun. (sector 121)
  2. Right before the blue key, you will notice three computer screens. Press the red one to lower the pillar with the supercharge. (sector 192)
  3. As you are going to the blue and red keys, you may notice two target switches. The one on the red key path can be shot after climbing the steps to the ledge where you would drop to the key, while the one on the blue key path also can be shot after climbing the steps leading to the key and looking north. After shooting both switches, go to the starting point for a supercharge. (sector 289)
