MAP04: Imptech Rampage is the fourth map of 1 Monster. It was designed by Przemek Zimny (alterworldruler) with later edits by Robert Eckhardt (Ichor), and uses the MAP06 song from TNT: Evilution.
Like all maps in the megawad, the map features only one type of monster, in this case the imp. It is set in a high-tech facility and consists mostly of narrow corridors with little room to dodge fireballs, forcing the player to often hide behind corners.

Essentials
Press the switch in the starting room to lower the yellow keycard, allowing you to open the door. In the corridor, open the middle northern door; inside the cabinet is the red keycard. Use that to open the red key door in the corridor and press the switch within the cabinet, opening the bars blocking your way out.
Head through where the bars were and keep going forward. In the large square-shaped room open the door to the west and keep on going forward, passing through two doors on the way, until you come to an intersection. The northern and eastern branches will lead you to switches; press both switches to open the way south of the intersection. Go forward and press the switch with blue decorations. This lowers the blue keycard back in the middle of the large square-shaped room. Head back there and grab the key, then open the blue key door to the south. Keep going forward, going down a lift on your way, until you come to a switch at the end of a rocky valley. Press the switch and use the nearby teleporter. Go back to the square-shaped hub to find that the exit door to the right has opened.
Secrets
- In the room where you find the red key, open the fireplace; inside are 25 armor bonuses (Easy), 50 armor bonuses (Medium), or an armor (Hard). (sector 445)
- In the T-shaped room found after the blue key door, open the middle of the metal wall to the west. Inside you will find a plasma gun. (sector 1833)
Bugs
A multiplayer-only stimpack (Thing 282) has no flags set for any of the three difficulty classes, so it does not actually appear in the level.
