MAP04: Relentless is the fourth map of The Darkening. It was designed by Travers Dunne (traversd) and uses the music track "Anger's Reprise" by David Shaw (Tolwyn) from MAP26: Base Exposure (Memento Mori II).

Walkthrough

Map of Relentless

Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Secrets

1. Grabbing the red key reveals two closets with monsters to the north and south. Enter the north closet and press on the arrow pointing downward to lower into a secret area containing two boxes of ammo, a computer area map, two stimpacks, a green armor, and a super shotgun. (sector 149)
2. On the high ledge where you can jump east to the red key or south to the other ledge, go along the wall to the northeast until you find an opening with a soul sphere. (sector 224)
