MAP04: Warp of Time is the fourth map of Hell Ground. It was designed by Alexander S. (Eternal) and uses the music track "Pool of Tears" from American McGee's Alice.

Warp of Time was featured in Doomworld's Top 100 Most Memorable Maps, placing 44th.

Secrets[edit]

  1. In the gray area, take the west door and flip the switch for the lift. Head east, north, east, and then north to where the shotgun guys are coming from. To open the door here, look south from the door and shoot the switch through the hole. Inside is a soul sphere. (sector 642)
  2. In the green area, press the switch at the southernmost part of the area. This will open up two side compartments near the entrance to this area with imps inside. Head into the left compartment and find the switch behind the translucent wall at the south end. Using it opens up another compartment to the east with a backpack and rockets. (sector 1146)
  3. As you go through the green area, you will find a green armor on top of a block surrounded by four teleporters. Use the wall to the northwest of this block and the switch behind it, which will lower the block. (sector 1360)
  4. At the end of the green area, you will be in a hall with bright green lights. When you reach the corner, find a section of the inner wall you can walk through and walk through it to find a green armor (only on Hey, Not Too Rough or lower), boxes of rockets (one on Ultra-Violence or higher), a box of shotgun shells, and medikits.   5. When you teleport to the pink area, shoot the panel to the east to get a chainsaw. (sector 1667)
  6. In the pink area, from the entrance, head west, south, then east. Press on the pentagram you see to get a berserk pack. (sector 1715)
  7. In the crusher hallway at the pink area, reach the third crusher and open the wall to the north to get backpacks and a super shotgun. (sector 757)
  8. In the pink area, after using the switch at the south end and then the one at the east end, the door south of the entrance will be open. Head east, south, then shoot the pentagram panel to the west for a hidden passage leading to a box of shotgun shells, a rocket, and a lift with a soul sphere. (sector 1695)
  9. When you teleport to the blue area, use the southeast wall for a chaingun. (sector 1836)
  10. When you teleport to the blue area, use the southwest wall for two boxes of ammo. (sector 1837)
  11. In the blue area, in the room east of where you teleported, go to the adjacent room to the south, then use the switch behind the translucent wall in the northwest corner. Go back to the other room and you can see an open compartment to the northwest, which contains a plasma gun, a backpack, and energy cells. (sector 1894)
  12. In the long hallway at the east end of the blue area, take the lift up, then head east and north. When you hear a lift lower, quickly head back south and use the switch before it closes. A block will rise leading to the vent to the west. Open this vent and follow the path to a soul sphere. (sector 1903)
  13. In the long hallway at the east end of the blue area, take the lift up, then head east and north. Use the vent to find a box of ammo and a medikit. (sector 1923)
  14. At the high walkways in the rocket launcher room of the blue area, use the big skull switch at the northeast, then head back south across the walkways. At the south end, head west and drop into the hole, then use the vent to find a megaarmor. (sector 1987)
  15. At the high walkways in the rocket launcher room of the blue area, use the big skull switch at the northeast, then head back south across the walkways. In the small hall where the shotgun guy and chaingunner attack you from, head to the west end and use the north wall to find a box of shotgun shells and a medikit. (sector 1996)
