Essentials[edit]

Take the chaingun and kill the shotgun guys ahead, then go straight forward up some steps to a platform. Open the door on the east side and kill a few waiting imps, then look north to see some more shotgun guys guarding a super shotgun; there is a button on the west wall of this area that will lower some bars in the previous room. Go back through the door and head north down a newly-opened staircase to another door, which leads to a walkway above a nukage pool defended by imps and one or two chaingunners. You will need to enter the nukage then run east to get the red keycard - if you need a radiation shielding suit first, open the west door (revealing a mancubus on Hurt Me Plenty (HMP) skill level or higher) then go straight forward through a second door to get outside where mancubi and imps (plus revenants on HMP or higher) are guarding a megaarmor and a couple of suits.

From the red key, use the lift on the north side to climb out of the nukage and kill some waiting imps, then activate the silver lift in the south wall to go up to the platform in the south-east corner of the refinery. Go through the red key door on the west side to return to the super shotgun area, then press the skull switch near the nukage pool in this room (which also requires the red key) to open a set of bars to the west. Go past these bars to collect a berserk pack, then enter the teleporter here to go to the south ledge where you can pick up the blue keycard. Open the nearby door to find another teleporter, which goes back to the room with the walkway, then open the blue key door in the north wall to enter a hall with spectres, imps and chaingunners. Open the door at the east end of the hall to enter an octagonal room where imps, Hell knights and shotgun guys guard the yellow keycard.

To get the yellow key, open the door on the north-east side to find a staircase guarded by imps and a knight (or baron of Hell on HMP or higher), then go up to the top and drop down the hole here to land on a ledge with a button. Press the button to lower the nukage-fall in the pool below, revealing a tunnel with lost souls, then go into this tunnel and flip the switch ahead to lower the pillar holding the yellow key; watch out for the imps (and revenants on Ultra-Violence and Nightmare) that teleport in when you collect it. Go back to the switch you just flipped and open the yellow bars, then follow the passage behind them to a room with imps and chaingunners and use the lift here to climb out of the nukage. Open the door to get back to the red key area, then drop into the nukage and head west until you see the exit door on your left, and open it to find a chaingunner protecting the exit teleporter.

Other points of interest[edit]

The yard in the south-east corner of the map has a rocket launcher. The ledge to the north holds a computer area map, hidden among some barrels.

Secrets[edit]

  1. Open the door to the central room at the start, then take the steps up and approach the button. Open the wall next to the button to get a partial invisibility. (sector 222)
  2. In the south-east yard with the rocket launcher, next to the lift that leads down to the red key area, lower the wall with pipes to get a supercharge. (sector 187)
  3. At the north-east part of the map, climb the counter-clockwise steps, then get on the ridge where the tech wall is and go along it clockwise. A wall will open up revealing a megasphere. (sector 46)
