MAP06: Get Shafted is the sixth map of Heartland. It was designed by Paul DeBruyne (skillsaw) and uses the music track "Para Bellum" by Stuart Rynn (stewboy). The par time defined in MAPINFO is 25:00.

Walkthrough

Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Secrets

1. Past the red door and the section beneath the floors, you'll head up an elevator to an area where you'll encounter the first cyberdemon of the map. In the room where you'll find the switch which opens the way to the next elevator, looking north across the fence you will spot a shootable switch far in the distance. Shoot it to open one of the wooden crates in this room, revealing the flamethrower and three fuel tanks. Picking up the flamethrower will lower the wall of the wooden crate opposite you, releasing two revenants. (sector 1319)
2. Picking up the blue key will open a wall at the northern end of the previous area revealing an arch-vile among other things. Inside this small compartment you'll find some rockets and a monitor showing a flashing image of a pentagram. Press the screen of the monitor and head north to the two elevators leading out of this area. In the western wall two doors will have opened, revealing a path leading to a small outside balcony with a Megapack and two fuel tanks waiting for you. (sector 4582)
