Essentials[edit]
Other points of interest[edit]
Secrets[edit]
- Drop from the red key platform to the one below and look south to see a candle. Open the wall behind this candle to find a teleporter leading to a secret area, with ammo behind you and monsters in front. The switch behind the metal pillar lowers it, revealing a megasphere and a teleporter back. (sector 25)
- In the plus-shaped area with the lift leading to the red key, once the barrier to the lift has been removed, go to the east side and look north to the ridge to find a button. Shoot it, and the wall behind you lowers, revealing an arch-vile (or three on Ultra-Violence or higher) guarding a soul sphere, boxes of shotgun shells, and energy cells. (sector 1413)
- In the damaging blood pit at the southern end of the map with the poles, press on the indentation in the northeast corner to find a radiation suit. (sector 1765)
- When you press the switch for the BFG9000, three large areas open up on the sides. The one to the left holds up to ten cyberdemons. Enter this area and go near the purple torch on the left side, looking north to spot a tucked-away purple button. Shooting it reveals a teleporter further north, which takes you to an invulnerability. (sector 1952)
- Get on the platform with the red and blue switches, then use the lift next to the switched to get to the ledge to the east of those switches. Go south along the pillars which had revenants on them until you reach the wall. Press on it to reveal a teleporter, which takes you to a switch. By pressing it, jump down and there will be medikits and an energy cell pack available in the purple pond, although you will have to get back on the ledge to get the supplies. (sector 1955)
