MAP07: Red Like Jungle is the seventh map of MAYhem 2012. It was designed by Walter Confalonieri (daimon).

Walkthrough

Map of Red Like Jungle

Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Secrets

1. At the west end of the map where the arachnotrons and spider mastermind are, go north and jump into the blood pit, then head south past the medikits and through a translucent wall to a teleporter. This will take you to several rooms where you can get a chainsaw, a megasphere, boxes of ammo, boxes of rockets, energy cell packs, and an invulnerability. (sector 265)
2. In the first room you come to from Secret #1, use the south wall with the splattered corpse to lower it. Attempting to grab the berserk pack will lead to a secret Wolfenstein-like portion. When you finish with it, you can go back and get the berserk pack. (sector 430)
3. When you teleport to the area that contains the exit switch, open the wall behind you to reveal a soul sphere. (sector 459)
