MAP09: Bloodlust is the ninth map of Hellcore. It was designed by Devon West (Darkfyre) and uses the music track " ".

Secrets[edit]

  1. Turn around at the starting point and enter the small passage. Use the door to find partial invisibility. (sector 8)
  2. In the first courtyard, head straight across to the wall with torches in between it and use it to reveal a switch. The switch reveals a plasma gun on a pedestal behind you. (sector 114)
  3. Teleport to the passage south of the courtyard and at the first bend, press on the corner that the blue light is shining on to get a computer area map. (sector 188)
  4. In the blue key room, shoot at the two pentagrams on the east and west walls to reveal a partial invisibility in a compartment accessible from the left side. Both walls that reveal the partial invisibility count as two secrets. (sector 423)

  6. In the large room east of the courtyard which darkens upon approaching the pentagram, head to the south end and use a wall to the west. The lift you lower counts as a secret, and it leads up to several rockets and a rocket launcher. (sector 400)
  7. The lift in the previous secret also reveals a chaingunner and a medikit directly in front of you. Behind them, use the wall to find another partial invisibility. (sector 402)
  8. Now keep going east from the pentagram room and as the path curves, a closet opens up to the south with barons of Hell. Press on the central wall in this closet to get a backpack. You can get three more secrets by continuing to press each wall, containing an energy cell pack, a box of shotgun shells, and a baron of Hell (Hell knight on Hey, Not Too Rough or lower) at the very end.   13. Head east from the red key area to an intersection over lava. Go to the southeast corner and press on the lit skull switch to find a secret area with health bonuses. (sector 429)
  14. If you kept going and hit the switch that allows access to the red key, go back to Secret #13 to find a new area behind this secret with armor bonuses. Note that to trigger this secret sector you will have to touch the southeast corner of this area. (sector 456)
  15. After you get the red key, use the teleporter at the west end to get out of there, and then re-enter the teleporter. Now look west and use the wall to collect a megaarmor. (sector 395)
