MAP09: Dismay is the ninth map of MAYhem 2048. It was designed by Scypek2 and uses the music track "Even Towards Death, Valiantly," composed by Yoshino Aoki for Breath of Fire IV.

  1. In the middle hallway, open the door to the south. Open the brown wall to the left to find a switch. After using it, return to the middle hallway and open the blue door. The two walls to the sides of the switch have been opened, with former humans and backpacks in them. The right side counts as a secret. (sector 228)
  2. When you teleport to the northwest part of the map, enter the second alcove to the south and use the wall there to pick up a green armor. (sector 463)
  3. In the red key room, lower the east terminal to get to a berserk pack and a switch. (sector 182)
  4. The switch in Secret #3 lowers the stairs with the red key, which in turn reveals a teleporter.
