MAP09: Winter Stronghold is the ninth map of Akeldama. It was designed by Matthew D. (The Mysterious Moustachio) and uses the music track "Gat out of Hell" by LewkForce.

SecretsEdit

1. Open the yellow door south of the starting point and go all the way to the switch. Exit outside after using it and use the nearby door to head back to the starting area. Go back to the yellow door and use the lift north of it, then enter the compartment to find a megaarmor. (sector 27)
2. Grab the soul sphere in the red-floored room to trigger the crushers, then head to the northwest alcove and wait for the wall to rise up. Head through it to reach the backside of a crate, with a skull switch near a lamp. Use this switch to lower the crate as well as open up two other ones that have a megaarmor and an energy cell pack inside. (sector 278)
3. Head to the north of the starting point and use the wall with the cross to find a chainsaw and ammo. (sector 304)
4. At the river area with armor bonuses, do not jump down all the way yet, but instead go to the southeast end next to the long crates. Jump towards the terminal, and if you land it right, the terminal will lower allowing you to get a soul sphere. (sector 350)
