MAP10: Un-named118 is the tenth map of 1 Monster. It was designed by "sausage" with later edits by Robert Eckhardt (Ichor), and uses the music track "LAST FIGHT" (boss1.mid) from the freeware shooter game Another Zero.
Like all maps in the megawad, the map features only one type of monster, in this case the pain elemental. It is set in and around a brown brick fortress, with a number of lava pools and rivers present.

Essentials
Head around the building and enter it. Open the northern door and get the red key, then head back, operate the lift and enter the only available teleporter. Press the red key switch, then the switch behind it, to give you access to another teleporter back in the main building. Teleport back to the main building, then enter the newly-opened teleporter.
Enter the door to the east, head up the lift and press the two switches. The northern switch opens up the bars blocking the door to the west of the crossroads; the southern switch opens the exit door from this room. Leave the room and enter the western door. Press the switch to lower the yellow key, then grab it. Go back and open the yellow door to the north, and press the switch beyond to open up a third teleporter. Go south, teleport back and enter the newly-opened gateway.
Press the switch and head down the stairs. Drop down into the pit and press the switch to the south; this allows you to access the switch to the south-west of this giant courtyard. Leave via the lift, press the southwestern switch, wait for the bars to the south-east to lower completely and enter the exit.
Secrets
- In the main building with the three teleporters, go up the lift, then carefully walk onto the thin strip of brick that forms the edge of the ledge. Head along it until you come to the end, at which point a switch will be revealed. Press it to find a partial invisibility powerup. (sector 76)
- In the courtyard with the yellow key, head up the stairs and get onto the brick ledge that surrounds the area. Walk around to the north-east and drop down, then press the switch on the other side of the button that lowers the key. This will lower the bars to the west, blocking access to the armor (easy difficulty) or megaarmor (medium and hard); climb again onto the ledge and head along it to get the armor. (sector 296)
- In the final courtyard, carefully jump into the pit from the south to land atop the brown block with the switch. There is a soulsphere there. (sector 377)
