MAP12: Beautiful Agony is the twelfth map of NOVA III. It was designed by sincity2100 and uses the music track "The Lab that Carmen Roams," originally composed by Paul Corfiatis (pcorf) for Simply Phobos.

Secrets

  1. At the left side of the map, head for the south end and look at the torches to the east. One is blue instead of red. Use it, then head north down to ground floor and into the southeast corner. The block will rise, so use the east wall to find a hidden passage to a plasma gun. (sector 56)
  2. In the main area with two keys, find the brown lever switch just to the north of the higher walkway and flip it, then go back to the entrance to see two blocks lowering containing boxes of shotgun shells, a backpack, and a box of rockets. Both blocks count as one secret. (sector 249)
  3. Open the blue door and press on the scarab mural to the right of the teleporter to find an energy cell pack and a megasphere. (sector 555)
