Other points of interest

Suicide Exit: At the top of the mountain and at the entrance of the building, one of the columns is open with a green torch inside. If you use the rocket launcher on the walls here (or the nearby monsters), you can perform a death slide to this open column and exit the level.

Secrets

  1. When you reach the top of the mountain, go around the entrance on the left side. Go around the nukage to the north side of the building, where there is a fence, which would normally block you from dropping down below. You can still drop to the ledge below if you drop from an angle; from the west side turn northeast and drop past the fence and you should land on a computer area map. This is a very unconventional way to access it, as you can climb to it via steps in the wall so tiny that they are almost unnoticeable, which is also true for Secret #2. (sector 90)
  2. When you reach the top of the mountain, go around the entrance on the left side. From the nukage, fall to the north and you should end up on a ledge that had imps on it, along with an energy cell. (sector 91)
  3. When you reach the top of the mountain, go around the entrance on the left side. Go through the nukage waterfall to teleport, possibly telefragging a Hell knight. Use the lift nearby to get a box of rockets. (sector 242)
  4. When you approach the coves where the red and blue keys are, you open up several closets where monsters are located. One of these closets contains a cyberdemon (or a mancubus on Hey, Not Too Rough or lower). Another closet, the one in the southern part of the area, has a target that you can shoot. This opens the teleporter nearby. Enter it to telefrag the cyberdemon. (sector 318)
  5. At the yellow key room, open the yellow bar to the northeast and look east (do not drop down). There is a target slightly below you that you can shoot, which opens the green column next to you containing an invulnerability. (sector 484)
  6. Go behind the large ruined wall near the yellow bars on the east side of the mountain to find a berserk pack. (sector 713)
  7. Go north from your starting point to find a shotgun. (sector 714)
  8. At the building entrance, there are two doors. Take the one on the right, and step onto the parapets, heading into the blood where the chaingunner was. You can enter the other chaingunner compartment if you go off the wooden steps. (sector 718)
  9. From Secret #8, teleport to the other chaingunner compartment, then walk southwest to teleport to a secret room. (sector 803)
  10. From Secret #4, instead of dropping back down, head west into the darkness. You can choose to go north or south here, either way will lead you to a secret room with boxes of shotgun shells. Both sectors count as one secret, although you will have to fight your way through a crescent-shaped area reminiscent of the one on the first Deus Vult to return. (sector 808)
  11. At the yellow key room, open the yellow bar to the northeast and drop down. Return to the entrance of this building as quickly as you can and you should see that one of the columns has lowered (for ten seconds). This is a teleporter, use it to end up north of the mountain, where you can collect boxes of rockets and a rocket launcher, as well as fight Hell knights to leave this area. (sector 1222)
