MAP15: Satan's Cross is the fifteenth map of The Abyss. It was designed by Miklos de Rijk (H2SO4) and uses the music track " ".

Secrets

  1. At the left branch of the map on the high ledge, take the hall at the southeast end to end up in a room similar to the weapon room in MAP01. The satyr switch does the same thing here as it did in that map, opening the south room. Inside is a green armor. Also be sure to step into the alcove to the southwest and press the switch in the room that follows to get into Secrets #3 and #4. (sector 66)
  2. Go along the right branch of the map and near the gap, look to the north wall. There is a light arrow pointing at the wall in the nukage. Lower this wall for a secret passage. If you pressed the switch at the far north end of the map, the secret exit will be at the end of this passage. (sector 84)
  3. In Secret #2, just before the first bend in the passage, open the wall to the right. If you had pressed the switch in the non-secret room mentioned in Secret #1, there will be stairs leading up, which will eventually wind to the semi-circular ledges at the right branch of the map. This secret sector is the dropoff point, but you will get two secrets for heading this way. (sector 121)
  4. See Secret #3. This is actually the sector just behind the wall you open. (sector 123)
  5. At the north end of the map, take the left branch to the room with mancubi. The wall in the back hides an arch-vile and a megasphere. (sector 168)
