MAP16: Dead Calm is the sixteenth map of A.L.T.. It was designed by Michailo Kolybenko (Azamael) and uses the music track "".

SecretsEdit

  1. In the area with barrels, go to the armor bonus at the southwest end and open the wall behind it to get a megaarmor. (sector 373)
  2. Head down the steps west of where the yellow key is, then north to a berserk pack. Attempt to open the door and the walls around you will open instead. Get to the backside of the door and open it, which will also open an alcove to your right. Flip the switch inside to access the next secret. (sector 375)
  3. Make sure you flipped the switch in Secret #2, then go down the lift south of this room back to the starting point. Use the lift to the south, then enter the area next to it for a super shotgun and shotgun shells. There are two switches here, the one on the left lowers the lift to the north of the starting point, while the one on the right will lower a terminal to the east of that lift, which conceals a switch that reveals a teleporter at the right field of the map. (sector 231)
  4. At the right field of the map, flip the switch to the north and use the lift to go up. Turn to the north and the door will open ahead of you. Open the next door, then the wall ahead, then drop down. The teleporter in this room will open when you get inside (alternatively, if you used the switch concealed by the terminal mentioned in Secret #3, you can bypass these instructions by using a teleporter north of the lift for a shortcut). Use this teleporter to be on a terrace at the left field, then re-enter the teleporter to teleport to a different terrace where you can get a BFG9000. (sector 61)
  5. In the right field, go down to the lava below and to the northeast. Follow this path of lava to a teleporter to reach a soul sphere and a radiation suit. (sector 440)
  6. In the crate-filled area at the east side, make your way to the northwest, then use the crate with the green armor on it. Ride it up, then jump southeast to the crates with rockets on them. Jump southeast to another crate, then you will need to jump east to the crate nearby and then to the other crates to the east, but this will be hard as another crate is in the way. If you manage to make it, jump east, then north to get a soul sphere. (sector 429)
  7. Open the northwest door in the T-shaped hallway then use the wall where the health bonus is to find energy cells and a plasma gun. (sector 370)
  8. When you reach the exit room, go back through the teleporter you came from, then use the north wall to find a hidden passage. Use the wall at the end to get a megasphere. (sector 232)
