MAP16: Fellspring is the sixteenth map of Plutonia 1024: The Plutinya Experiment. It was designed by James Caldwell (Obsidian), and the par time defined in MAPINFO is 2:30.

EssentialsEdit

Take the super shotgun in front of you and walk forward until the water lowers, revealing two doorways - as you step through, watch out for two or three revenants approaching from the north, along with spectres from the west and chaingunners overhead on Hurt Me Plenty (HMP) skill level or higher. Take the yellow keycard sitting by the north wall then head up the steps in the south-west corner to a ledge defended by imps and a Hell knight. Follow the ledge round to a gargoyle switch and press it, then drop to the floor below to find that a yellow bar has been raised allowing you to step past it and drop to the bottom level where a megaarmor (or armor on HMP or higher) can be found.

Step forward and kill the demons on your right (plus a baron of Hell on HMP or lower, or two knights on Ultra-Violence and Nightmare), then walk south until you see two or three revenants appear in front of you. Continue following the water west to find the blue keycard under a waterfall, watching out for a mancubus to your right, then head back the way you came until you reach a teleporter with a chainsaw on it. Enter the teleporter and press the gargoyle switch to your left, which will release an arch-vile on the floor below. Go back to the bottom level and head back to where you found the blue key to find that the exit teleporter has opened, guarded by demons/spectres and one or two barons.

SecretsEdit

  1. After you get the blue key, take the teleporter at the north-east end, then look to the east to see a skull switch with a wall moving up and down in front of it - you can shoot this switch if you use the super shotgun. Once you hit it, take the steps on the south wall and head east to the hole. Drop in to get a supercharge. (sector 46)
