MAP18: Quick and Dirty is the eighteenth map of 10 Sectors. It was designed by Anthony Soto and uses the music track " ".

Walkthrough

Essentials

You will get weapons at the start, use them to get rid of the enemies right away. Note that the nukage in this map is deep enough that you cannot immediately reach for a ledge unless it is shallow enough. Your first order of business should be to get the blue key. Head for the northeastern part of the map, where the blue door is located. Go west from there following the path to the blue key. Then head back to the blue door, opening it for a room of imps and the red key. You can get the yellow key at any point, but it is incredibly tough to reach. It is in the nukage right from the start, and a radiation suit is just nearby, but since the nukage is deep and the yellow key is on a raised platform, you will likely have to grab the key. After getting the keys, head for the southeastern part of the map. Open the red door, killing the Hell knights in the room, then open the yellow door as it closes to exit.

Other points of interest

The green wall just north of the yellow key can be walked through for a partial invisibility.

As this level does not contain official secrets, the NM 100S category is redundant.

Routes and tricks

In the exit room, it is possible to straferun past the yellow door before it closes to reach the exit switch. Open the red door and kill the Hell knights if they have not been killed yet, then back up and run straight for the exit switch. The player should reach the switch before the door closes if he is fast enough. This could be a workaround in case the player is somehow unable to reach the yellow key.
