MAP18: The Golden Palace is the eighteenth map of Interception II. It was designed by Matthew D. (The Mysterious Moustachio) and uses the music track " ".

Secrets

  1. After you get the blue key, go back to the west side of the map and go back to the switch that lowered a mancubus. You can jump northwest to a closet that had cacodemons, collecting an energy cell pack. (sector 15)
  2. Take the lift in Secret #3 up, then jump through the opening with a candle to find a BFG9000 and an energy cell. (sector 277)
  3. In the area just northeast of the rocket launcher hall, go to the south window, face southwest, and shoot the switch. Go back to the area with bookshelves and head behind the northern one where some steps have lowered. The hall has shotgun shells, medikits, and a box of ammo, as well as a lift going up. (sector 443)
