Map of Vile Complex
Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Essentials[edit]

Other points of interest[edit]

Secrets[edit]

  1. Turn left at the start, then right. Open the wall that the light is shining on for a backpack. (sector 138)
  2. In the marble maze, near the southeast side, you can open a faceted wall to get a berserk pack. (sector 141)
  3. Get to the red door, then lower the wall at the top of the nearby steps. Once it is lowered, open the red door, then quickly go through the opening you made earlier, putting you near the blue door. Quickly head west to the window, then south to the blue torch, then quickly run back and through the red door. There will be a teleporter directly to your right, so enter it quickly to reach the secret. You will find a soul sphere. (sector 169)
  4. Enter the area north of the pentagrams and head straight north into the first corridor. At the end, open the wall to get a backpack. (sector 191)
  5. Enter the area north of the pentagrams and head southeast to the alcove with the armor bonus. Open the wall here to get a green armor and an energy cell pack. (sector 206)
  6. Open the wall behind the red key to get armor bonuses, a box of rockets, and a chainsaw. (sector 231)
