MAP20: Leap of Faith is the twentieth map of Doom 2 the Way id Did. It was designed by Sarah Mancuso (esselfortium) in the style of John Romero. The par time defined in the DEHACKED lump is 5:30.

Secrets
- From the starting point, walk up to the cliff overlooking the large toxic pool in the middle and look down to the west to see a lower platform. Drop down to it, then jump to the opening with the wooden floor to find an imp and a stimpack. (sector 12) Go through the door and press the skull switch to reveal a BFG9000 and more imps behind it.
- Before collecting the yellow skull key, press the toxic hazard symbol to the south to reveal an alcove with a radiation shielding suit. (sector 178)
- In the west section of the map, after going up the large elevator activated by the skull switch and up the stairs, when you step on the floor section with the shotgun zombies and box of rockets, out the window you'll see a wall section opening to reveal a gargoyle switch. Quickly run down the stairs and press it before the wall closes, and you'll open a drop back down to behind the yellow key bars, as well as a flight of stairs to a room with cells and a megasphere. (sector 59)
- Past the blue key door, press the demon effigy on the altar to lower the wall next to to it, giving you access to a security armor, a backpack and the imp cage to the east. (sector 109)
- After performing the titular leap of faith and clearing all imps in the room, drop down to the north and press on the wall with the power symbol to reveal an alcove with a bulk cell. (sector 185)
