MAP21: Passage to Exile is the twenty-first map of Doom 2 the Way id Did. It was designed by Brendt Pantley (Megalyth) and uses the music track "Countdown to Death". The par time is 2:30.

Secrets

  1. After opening the wall at the beginning, check behind the switch on top of the steps and press the switch there to reveal an alcove with a backpack and a berserk pack. (sector 10)
  2. After pressing the main switch near #1, go to the west. Step into the toxic pool in front of the blue key bars and press the switch behind the pillar, which will rise a flight of steps and allow you to collect the soul sphere on the other side of the room.(sector 19)
  3. In the west side of the map, jump into the toxic pool and go in the opening behind the radiation shielding suit. A small elevator will take you to a room containing a rocket launcher, rocket boxes and a computer area map. A wall section will open back to the switch you pressed to reach #2. (sector 57)

Bugs

A hanging leg (Thing 264) in the east has no flags set for any of the three difficulty classes, so it does not actually appear in the level.
