MAP22: Broken Confluence Point is the twenty-second map of NOVA: The Birth. It was designed by Nate Riley (Getsu Fune) and uses the music track from level 6 of Descent.

Secrets

  1. In the first hall, when you reach the dead zombieman corpse, open the wall to find a soul sphere. (sector 34)
  2. After flipping the switch in the room behind the red door, instead of going back through the hellish region, run to the southeast part of the complex you are in. A compartment near the lounge area is open, with arch-viles or Hell knights (depending on your skill level) guarding a backpack, a megaarmor, a berserk pack, and boxes of rockets. (sector 226)
  3. After flipping the switch in the room behind the red door, return all the way to the starting room, which has expanded a bit. The area where the mancubi are located has some energy cells. (sector 298)

Bugs

The player 2, 3 and 4 starts (Things 1, 2 and 3) have no flags set for any of the three difficulty classes, but because of special handling in the engine, they function normally in the level.
