MAP22: Lower Palace is the twenty-second map of Serpent: Resurrection. It was designed by Stephen Clark (The Ultimate DooMer) and uses the music track "".

Walkthrough

Map of Lower Palace

Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Secrets

1. At the entrance, go all the way to the right and past the door to find a face switch. Pressing this will open a small alcove on the opposite side of the corridor, to the left of the combined mana sign, which may be reached with the boots of speed. There you can obtain a bag of gold. (sector 4127)
2. Reach the drawing room in the southwest, but before you go in, turn back and go into the arch of the right corridor, and if you look to the ceiling here you will see a shootable switch. Then go to the drawing room and the purple wall inside will have opened, revealing a pair of jump boots and a porkalator. (sector 4123)
3. Once you reach the armory, if you use the jump boots you can find two bags of gold and two discs of repulsion in the room. (sector 4518)
