MAP22: Withered Fields is the twenty-second map of The Rebirth. It was designed by Björn Ostmann (Vader) and uses the music track "Message for the Archvile," originally composed by Robert Prince for Doom II.

Secrets[edit]

  1. On the high ledge in the main fortress, open the wall on the east side with the satyr face to find a teleporter leading to a Super Mario Bros. themed area with a BFG9000, an energy cell pack, a box of rockets, a megasphere, shotgun guys, and Mario as a Commander Keen sprite replacement. (sector 120)
  2. Head west and south from the start, and where the red key bridge would be, drop into the blood and enter the nearby teleporter to find health bonuses and an invulnerability. (sector 298)
