MAP23: Immaterium is the twenty-third map of NOVA: The Birth. It was designed by Paul D and uses the Ordos Mentat music track from Dune II, composed by Frank Klepacki and Dwight Okahara.

Secrets

  1. When you return back to the Teleportarium, you will notice that the four teleport pads on the south wall are closed. Step over the dead marines you see in the room to open them. You will find ammo on each pad. The four pads all count as one secret. (sector 351)
  2. Grab a radiation suit and climb the snaky ledges up to the yellow key. On the second-to-last ledge, run south to the bloodfall, then go all the way around the room on this bloodfall to reach a soul sphere. (sector 375)

Bugs

A box of bullets (Thing 768), an energy cell (769), 4 shotgun shells (770), a box of shotgun shells (771) and four bloody decorations (438, 439, 440 and 446) have no flags set for any of the three difficulty classes, so they do not actually appear in the level.
