MAP26: Burning Canals is the twenty-sixth map of The Rebirth. It was designed by Björn Ostmann (Vader) and uses the music track " ".

Walkthrough

Map of Burning Canals

Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Secrets

1. Run to the yellow key, then go south and east to where the switch is. Open the wall east of the switch to find health bonuses, and press the lion switch for an energy cell pack. (sector 165)
2. At the room with the large teleporter, instead of taking the teleporter, open the wall to the east of it. In this room you will find green armor and armor bonuses. There are four secret sectors in this room. (sector 202)

5. See Secret #2. (sector 209)
6. At the eastern side of the map, where you can raise four bridges leading to a switch on the east wall, head for the recessed portion just south of where the bridges would be, then open the east wall to get an invulnerability. (sector 265)
7. Open the red door and enter the lava on the left side. Go to the west wall and you should lower into a secret room with a BFG9000, a backpack, a megasphere, boxes of ammo, a box of shotgun shells, and boxes of rockets. (sector 396)
