MAP27: Demonic Throat Canyon is the twenty-seventh map of NeoDoom. It was designed by Daniel Lemos and uses the music track "". The par time defined in MAPINFO is 5:30.

Walkthrough

Map of Demonic Throat Canyon

Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Secrets

1. Head to the east end of the canyon until you get to the reactor battery and aluminum armor. Drop off two levels and enter the cave to find the Unholy Weapon, mana, a blue visor, a teleport placer, and a star orb. (sector 42)
2. At the west end of the canyon, just before the entrance on the west side, drop off southeast to find a titanium armor and an immortality chalice. (sector 242)
3. At the northeast end of the canyon, find an energy fusion gun, an energy reactor canyon, reactor batteries, and an immortality chalice one level below the red door. (sector 241)
4. In the big room after the west entrance, unlock the southwest path and go there, then use the east wall where the candle is to find reactor batteries and a BFG 30000X ZD-96. (sector 160)
5. Head west of Secret #4. In the next hall, lower the northeast wall to find a titanium armor and a power charge. (sector 147)
6. In the blood room, go through the right bloodfall at the east end to find a magic bag, steroids, a profane spirit, and bottles. (sector 131)
7. Go through the bloodfall north of Secret #6 to find an immortality chalice, a helper marine, and a fly spawner recipient. (sector 132)
8. After you get the red crux, head back to the place you got Secret #5 and enter the closet to the south. Open the west wall to find the inferno protection and an immortality chalice. (sector 158)
9. At the easternmost end, use the south side of the altar to ride up to a star orb, a BFG 30000X ZD-96, reactor batteries, and an energy reactor cannon. (sector 193)
