MAP27: Phlegethon is the twenty-seventh map of Doom 2 Reloaded. It was designed by Andy Stewart (eschdoom). The par time is 7:00.

Other points of interestEdit


  1. Once you are able to reach the center bridge at the start, climb the small set of steps and look north. Jump to the thin ledge here and find the blue skull switch. After pressing it, retrace your steps to the bridge and find the opening on the left to find boxes of ammo, shotgun shells, medikits, and a megaarmor. (sector 111)
  2. In the final area, use the lift to the north to reach the upper ledge, then go all the way to the right as much as you can. Look southeast to find a block with a gargoyle face on it. Shoot it and the floor you are on will rise up. Head north for a BFG9000, energy cell packs, and medikits. (sector 440)
  3. At the north end with the switch that opens the way to the blue key, press the backside of the switch to open a hidden passage with a backpack, berserk pack, soul sphere, partial invisibility, megaarmor, and ammo. (sector 442)
  4. Go up the stairs near the blue key, but turn around and quickly run west to reach the chaingun. (sector 458)
