MAP28: The Underworld is the twenty-eighth map of Doom 2 Reloaded. It was designed by Andy Stewart (eschdoom).

Secrets

  1. After pressing the skull switch in the room behind the blue bars, head north and west to a previously locked-off room with barons of Hell (or Hell knights on lower skill levels) inside. There is a soul sphere, a megaarmor, and rockets inside this room. (sector 210)
  2. Use the lift in the southwest corner to go up. Outside, look for the two torches, and jump out in between the two torches to the north, to reach the blood pit containing lots of ammo and two medikits. (sector 254)
  3. At the east end where the lava is, go southwest to the supplies and open the wall. There will be even more supplies to get here along with a plasma gun. (sector 348)
  4. At the underground cave with the circular platform, head southeast through the lava and enter the teleporter to reach the circular platform. Press the southern switch, then reenter the lava going southeast again. This time, there will be an opening here, leading to a different teleporter, which takes you to the caged area with the megasphere and ammo. (sector 459)
