MAP29: The Quiet Before the Storm is the twenty-ninth and penultimate level of Resurgence. It was designed by Josh Sealy (Joshy), and uses the music track "Jade Empire" by Stuart Rynn (stewboy), taken from the Plutonia MIDI Pack.

- Sector 35: In the water west of where the blue key is located, look at the southern side of the middle wooden beam for a hidden switch, which raises a lift nearby. Ride this lift up to reach a soul sphere and energy cell pack.
- Sector 932: At the easternmost end of the map, you will find several pillars before a small base. On the right side of the rightmost pillar is a tucked-away switch. Press it and enter the base to find an opening with a soul sphere.
- Sector 1132: Go left from where the red key is located, then jump onto the windowill to the south. From there, jump west to the ledge with the backpack and energy cell pack.
